i don’t know about you but id like to see game play of invasion from halo reach back and brought to halo 5 guardians. or extraction i liked them and imsure you did to but i vote that if they did this they need to add options in forge as well griftball too bugt as halo 5 guardians has that game mode of castle wars with energy swords i think it is lame but what you think

I agree, but how would Invasion or invasion slayer work there is no playable Elites in multiplayer. I would rather 343 put Invasion in Halo 6 with playable Elites and just keep dominion to be played with red vs blue Spartans!

why in halo reach you could be either one and in halo2 also so what they should do is make it a btb invasion game mode

I mean it could easily just be rvb invasion. But I do hope in halo 6 the go back to traditional elitevspartans.
I liked both Invasion and Dominion a great deal. Most of my Halo 4 play was Dominion games.
I’d take just about anything over WZ though, don’t get me wrong, it’s a fun mode, but they need to do something about how many REQ cards you get.
Calling in a yellow-quality vehicle and getting immediately boarded out of the spawn zone before you get control of the vehicle is a game-quitting level of negative experience. Similarly, so is calling in a damage boost and a sniper rifle and getting instakilled by a random vehicle that is somehow behind where you spawned. The game mode just chews up REQ cards too quickly considering how quickly they are earned, and for that matter, the Spartan Laser needs to be made way more effective to counter vehicles. The weapon has been nerfed nonstop since Halo 3 and it sucks now.
It basically turns into this: Call in a weapon, get BS’ed by a vehicle… call in a vehicle, get BS’ed by the infinite aim AI or someone with camouflage. Either make the REQ cards last much longer, EG: If I die with my Whispered Truth I respawn with all the ammo I had left in it, or make the REQ cards more common (get at least 50% more cards on average per pack). Not both, but we need one of these things to happen if WZ is gonna stay.

I have a solution for you that I’m surprised you haven’t figured out by now.
Spawn at home base. Your enemies literally can’t get in there unless they have all the other bases capped. And if that’s the case, calling in any REQ might not be your best decision anyway.
Why dosent anyone mention an invasion game type with playable soldiers I mean soldiers elites and spartans have about the same health and melee damage. 343 could get really creative with this game type and have spartans elites and soldiers battle it out in a new invasion game type.

I know this is an option but all that does is put a big fat delay on the eventual death that is going to make me lose my REQ. I’m still very likely to get one-banged by something I can’t see coming, I just have a nice little walk to take before it happens. I’m not saying every death that makes you lose REQs is is bull, just that many of them are unpreventable because they’re unpredictable.
I just think we need a sort of ‘anti rage’ mechanic that prevents cards from literally just being wasted.
Example:
- I call in a shotgun variant with 20 shells - I use 6 shells from the shotgun, giving me 14 left, and then I die. - I drop a shotgun with half of the shells I had left in it, 7 shells, for the killer to pick up or for me to retrieve - I now have the option to “use my last loadout” and respawn with my shotgun with half of the shells I had left (7 shells left) for no additional REQ cost. - Now the enemy got half of my remaining shots, but I kept half as well for free, and I have to option to go retrieve my other 50% ammo from the shotgun I droppedAs for vehicles, if your vehicle is destroyed in less than 30 seconds and you haven’t gotten any kills yet with it, the card should be refunded to your REQ pool.
Examples:
- I call in a Banshee, I get one player kill, and then the AI kills it almost instantly, I was alive for about 15 seconds - I do not get my card or my REQ points back - I call in a Banshee, I get no kills, and a player kills it with a laser, I was alive for about 28 seconds - I get my card back, but not my REQ points - I call in a Banshee, I get no kills, and I get killed shortly after, I was alive for about 33 seconds - I do not get my card or my REQ points backMaybe this is too complicated, but the current system simply does not support the levels of rarity that some of these things are.

I would love to see Invasion and/or Dominion return to Halo. Both were a lot of fun, and while it won’t happen in H5, it would be cool having variants of them incorporated into Warzone, like they did with Firefight.

Brutes would be a nice addition as well, though probably harder to balance
