So I’ve been using the Mark V Alpha helmet with the Intruder body armor, and I have to say they look pretty good together. Like, SURPRISINGLY good. Seriously, go check the Spartan Customizer on the website and take a look for yourself, or look at my Icon/Halo 5 Guardians Service Record.
The blocky style of both seems to complement each other really well, almost as if they were INTENDED to go together. Plus, the overall appearance gives off a nice Reach-ish vibe, but with a new coat of “paint”
Intruder armour not Interceptor. But that combination does look ok but i’m still not a fan of the Mark V Alpha helmet. Regardless of which arnour goes with it.

yeah I really wish they would have made a accurate armor model for halo 5 or just import the halo 4 because despite its flaws its better than alpha

I’ve heard a lot of people call the helmet ugly. Why is that? I just don’t see it.
Total respect for that opinion, I just never hear anyone elaborate on why it’s so ugly and I’m curious.
Most likely because it looks different to what they were expecting. While I understand that, the only reason I found it not worth using is because it didn’t have any armor set that it “worked with” until now, if you know what I mean.
Mark IV Helmet > Mark V Alpha helmet.
That being said, glad you found a satisfying combination. Armor tastes are different between people, nothing wrong with that.
