It is with great pleasure that I announce my project: Halo Lobbies.

About
Having been an active Spartan since 2007, I felt it was time I find a way to give back to the Halo community, as it has been my favorite game series through and through.

The site allows for you to either host lobbies, or immediately find lobbies on your laptop, mobile device, or even better: Xbox One’s provided internet browser (Edge).

Let’s unleash the full power of Custom Games and Forge together. Don’t let your original content go unnoticed!

Functionality
Every lobby can have a title/description, and one YouTube video (just paste the link in). The video allows for map creators to promote their content in a visual way. No Rickrolls, please!

Players can XBL message the host and view the host’s game stats, or find a different player.

I have ensured that lobbies will be listed only if the host is playing, and they will not be listed for an extraordinary amount of time like on some LFG sites. I recognize that at times this can make my site look less busy, but am willing take that risk if it makes for a more honest user experience.

As with all of my projects, I am open to feedback, suggestions and questions. I want to make this the best third-party matchmaking experience for Halo 5.

I’m going to try and promote it on some YouTube channels that create Halo-related content. Hopefully they respond!
