What do you guys think of the Intro/Outro screens(when they work properly that is)? I personally like them although I kind of miss the fun and almost goofy intros/outros from the H5 beta

I hope they do, I like having the option in H5. Another aspect I really like is how it zooms you into your Spartan when the game starts
I enjoy them. Hopefully we get intro/outro stances and animations to choose from.
Personally I can’t stand them, it feels off having elite soldiers the best of the best posing and posturing like peacocks before and after a match. It makes it feel like the Spartans are taking part in a TV game show rather than a live fire training exercise.
But…
I can understand why they are there, more poses means more unlockable content for seasons and battle pass. Just as long as the Spartans don’t start flossing or doing the Carlton pre or post match it shouldn’t get out of hand.
Although I find it rather odd that they pose and start the match without holding a weapon it’s a fine addition, as long as we don’t go through 12 Spartan poses in BTB lol. As Squiffy said I hope they don’t go goofy on it and I’m curious if it doesn’t get annoying in the long term, I mean it’s all additional time between playing a match ultimately.
I think I’d rather see a customised victory pose then this long intro and the stale victory pose.

They’re a waste of time and I hate them. It means instead of getting straight into or through with a match, you have to sit there and wait arbitrarily for animations you may eventually get sick of seeing.
In the case of the map fly-bys, I can understand if the game is setting up stuff behind the scenes; that’s all fine and dandy. I don’t mind that. But when that’s done, I would like to play the game, please; and when that’s done, I’d like to go ahead and move on.
After writing all that and posting it, I’m realizing that the end screen in particular doesn’t waste that much time and I’m just being a brat. Maybe I’m just utterly spoiled by Halo 3. Bleh.
If we could choose victory poses then that would be great. If I remember correctly, arena was supposed to be a simulation in canon starting with Halo 4. So of course the Spartans are going to be a little cocky from time to time. These are also not Spartan IIs as these are previous ODSTs that signed up to become a Spartan. That cockiness isn’t just going to disappear. Even the “bro” stuff from the Halo 5 beta was fine. It would be like you competing against friends and fellow comrades in practice. You think they wont be cheering after victory or even some friendly taunting? Arena isn’t the campaign against the Covenant, Banished, or some other enemy. It’s a simulation skirmish amongst Spartans. They aren’t robots. I think people think too much about it.
Spartan’s are the ELITE! They shouldn’t have a bro mentality or showboat at all during what would be a training simulation… Give me a break.
I’d prefer if the game started as soon as everyone was loaded in. The long intros just seem like a waste of time. I want to get into the action asap, not watch a clip of my team in stupid poses.
