After lots of research (I probably missed something) I noticed two forerunner A.I’s that wanted Humanity and other Alien factions duke it out for the Mantle of Responsibility…but I thought the Librarian wanted mankind to obtain the mantle? So why are they seeing who would be worthy?
The Librarian wanted the humanity to have the mantle, but that doesn’t than prehistoric human would be worthy of it, humanity have to evolve to be able to protect the life in the galaxy.
But like she told the one of her life workers, after the attack of the Didact, on one of the halo rings, that she made them to be better
Humanity need time to be worthy of the mantle, otherwise she would have give them all forerunner technology from the begining, well before they meet the covenant

But she did when Halsey met her…until they trashed the idea in the comics, honestly imagine getting a Halo 5 that humanity gets Forerunner Technology and starts stomping Alien races with Master Chief being the new Didact lol 
Yeah I don’t know why they started this story in Spartan Ops just to stop it in the comics. Its like 343 never finish the stories they start, each game look like a new begining
Yeah I supposed humanity could be dangerous with all forerunner tech, especially after a 25 years war where billions of humans die, they would ask to revenge. However, I do’nt think Master Chief could became evil, he has a certain moral sense
