Can anybody give an actually good reason as to how DICE has managed to be able to make a game with 64 players, vehicles, large maps, and a system that can fall apart by the players over time, yet 343 couldn’t do the same with Halo? Like, it seriously baffles me. I rage so hard when I can have a perfect connection, and yet somehow still be laggy as -blam!-.
Figure out your stuff, 343.
Edit: For any confusion, I am referring to the connection differences between Halo vs Battlefield, not player count.
It’s by design. I don’t really know that Halo would need that many players.
If it were a technological hurdle, then I highly doubt Zipper Interactive would have been able to make a console first-person-shooter that runs with 256-player matches an entire console generation ago. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAG_(video_game)
EDIT: Ah, I misunderstood. You were complaining about the connection quality with what Halo offers, not complaining about the number of players being low compared to Battlefield.
