Hey all,
sadly Halo 5 hasn’t been enjoyable for me yet in relations to playing with friends. I’m Australian and i’m unable to play with my brittish and American friends just as my brittish friends can’t play with Americans and Aussies. Australia is a small country in comparison to USA and UK, our % of the population who game isn’t even close to the USA. Aside from launch here i cant find enough players for warzone and struggle at times to find Arena games.
Dose anyone have a ETA on when this international restriction will be lifted? Thanks 
Matchmaking is having issues at the moment, so you may want to take that into consideration. Try again when Microsoft fixes their stuff.
I too am in Australia and its hit and miss if I can play with my friends in NA. I hope there is a fix soon. Its great to have dedicated servers and the game is great. Just want to play with friends back home.
Bump. Can’t play with any of my friends back in the U.S…Any info on a fix for this?
Lemme guess, it wont play if your ping is over 100 despite me playing LoL fine at 180ms before they bumped my ping to 205 with the server move, and even then the new lag is almost invisible.
I blame pedantic self entitled “oh 60 ms is too laggy, look how SMOOTH and SEAMLESS the game is running” people.
Exact same issue here fellas, Aussie here, can’t play with anyone overseas, really would like this fixed.

I’m American Stationed in japan. Every time I turn on the game it is hit or miss.
On the off chance it will connect me to one of my friends in the US it will connect us to games quickly.
If i cannot connect to my friends there I cannot find games at all. Just a team arena when there are enough players locally.(rare)
