Based on the trailer/demo for the campaign yesterday I gather the members (or at least Locke and Buck) of Fireteam Osiris will struggle throughout the story with having to hunt the Chief. Buck mentions how the Chief isn’t just another target and when everybody else gets wind of this they’re going to hate them. Locke is a man who puts the mission first and he has orders so of course he tries to play it off and say the Chief is just another target, but this seems more like a facade than anything else as his response to Buck later is “You’re not the only here because of him.”
I think it would be great and add a lot of emotional appeal as well as character development if we see these characters struggle, be it externally or internally, and cope with having to hunt the hero who’s saved humanity.
It definitely looks like there is a lot more story in Halo 5 than any other Halo game without a doubt.
I do wonder what Locke means when he says “You’re not the only here because of him.”
Maybe Chief saved Locke somehow ?

Or he could be saying they’re forced to hunt him because he did something. Your here on this mission because of what he did or something like that.
He says “Your not the only one here because of him” meaning that your not the only one who is a Spartan because of MC. A lot of the people who became S-IV’s did it because they looked up to the S-II’s.
It certainly seems like 343 is pulling off another good narrative for Halo!
