So I am one of the players who chose to unlock all commons via the Bronze REQ packs, and now I have unlocked every item up to Rare from Silver REQ packs… every item that is except all the Rare Emblems. I bought 10 Silver packs just to make sure that I wasn’t getting unlucky and it was just not unlocking anything, but alas it just rewarded me back 1500 REQ points x2 and some Warzone items. So it seems that Emblems take priority being unlocked by secondary REQ packs like when you complete a commendation, reach a certain SR, etc… Just thought I’d share that with everyone and good luck on 100% completion! Personally for me, getting at least an Ultra-Rare everytime I open a Gold REQ pack now is quite satisfying :).
Yeah I just got to gold packs, had an interesting time though. I counted up all my remaining emblems to unlock and calculated that I needed to open 20 silver packs, so I saved up 100K and started opening. Turns out I had already finished, and the rest of the rare emblems were commendation unlocks! So I got the pleasure of opening 11 gold packs at once and got 2 Mantis certs, a bunch of the good rocket launchers, 2 Banshee certs, and a bunch of other goodies. It was like Halo christmas!
That’s pretty interesting. Thinking about it, I’ve noticed that emblems are the least likely thing I get from a Silver Pack, so reading this makes a lot of sense. Out of curiosity, what is your SR? I’ve reached level 67, but I feel like I still have a ton of customization items to unlock in the “Silver Pack” tier. I have about 30 helmets and 30 armors ranging from Uncommon to Rare.

You’ll get some emblems in gold too, but just wait until you start getting 6000 back in gold. That feels good!

I am SR 71, with well over half unlocked in pretty much every armour, skin, customize category!
I’m sr98 and noticed the same thing. I hesitated to start gold because of all the rare emblems I lacked. Commendations and rank ups seem to provide the missing ones.
When you receive RP from a pack you know you’re done with those packs.

I’m 90 something, and was about 87 or something before I switched to Golds. Never bought any with cash either, except now when I bought a Premium Bundle to help with my Gold packs.
