Just looking at halo 2. I hope we see the return of intractable scenery.

Zanzibar:
-moving windmill
-the brige in front of the windmill could be knocked down
-the switch in the base opened up the gate
Relic:
-Switch inside enemy base could open a teleporter shortcut
Waterworks:
-shootable stalactites could drop down and wreck tanks
containment:
-switch outside to lower the bridge/gate
Gemini:
-had automatic doors
Headlong
-swinging platform
-tilting I-beam
Midship:
-floating center trampoline
Terminal:
-THE PAIN TRAIN
Turf:
-knock down mini bridges
Any number of conveyor belts/lifts/teleporters
Im sure i’m missing some.
That’s not really “scenery”. Those are physical parts of the maps’ geometry. I call them “Interactive Map Elements”.

Good memories with halo 2s interactive stuff. Would like to see some energy bridges that can be activated or deactivated. Gates, teleporters, gondolas, man cannons, the possibilities are limitless. Adds to the controlling of key areas on the map.
I’m pretty sure 343 will include a lot more interactivity in Halo 5, based on what they said and showed at RTX.
