Intentionally losing placements results in a ban

Just saw on Twitter that he received a six-day ban from matchmaking for placing low by intentionally losing games. The ban message is as follows:

> You have been placed on a cool down from matchmaking for intentionbally losing your placement matchers in order to receive a lower ranking. Check www.halowaypoint.com/ban for more information. Your cool down will last for the following duration: 6d 22:27.

Great change to discourage people intentionally placing in Bronze for easy games.

Finally 343 does something to smurfing in Halo 5 and I hope that Valve will do the same thing in CSGO!

I seriously doubt it or there would be sooo many people on the forums going crazy about getting banned.

Yea this is pretty fake. I feel like if someone tried and got banned because they sucked some people would have 343 under some serious heat.

I think i saw his stream where he talked about making a low ranked account. Didn’t know it got banned lol. Im glad it got banned though … a pro doing that is not right.
Next time i watch his stream im gonna ask if his account really got banned.

Except it literally happened on his stream hosting an event of going bronze to champ. He made a video of it.

Still going with fake, you can suck in a game and not everyone is great at the game so 343 can’t just see that someone lost all 10 games and say “definitely a pro rank dropping…”
