Why isn’t anybody talking about the 117 Intel Items that appear in the campaign?
Are they going to be just Terminals, datapads or a mix of both?
I think it’s a mix but we don’t get a terminal video though.
I don’t have a link, but RUL posted a Blue Team Campaign gameplay, in which he shows a “datapad” on the ground. When he collects it, it plays a bit of audio, and says like “1 of 8 Blue Team intel Found” or something like that.

How many of these Intel things exist? So there is 8 for blue team but what of Osiris?

In the “Game has gone Gold” post it says that there are 117 throughout the whole game. I’m guessing there are several on each mission. In this case it’s Blue Team the mission, not the team.

It’s making me a little nervous.

With 15 mission in the game we’re looking at an average of about 7 intel items a level. Popular theory is that the first level and last level are prologues and epilogues so it could be said that there’s only really 13 levels, making it actually, on average, 9 intel items per level. Having said that I don’t think there will be a linear amount of intel on each level but adjusted to fit the size of the level and perhaps the importance/setting (Say if we were inside an Oni base or long lost Forerunner structure that’s in prestine condition vs an outdoor level fought 90% in a vehicle).
I hope the Intel collectibles aren’t just “Files” left behind by Humans but collectibles of all sorts used as “Intel” by ONI/UNSC/Spartans.

yes but I think its safe to say that it could actually be 7 intel items per level, I mean 7 is bungies lucky number ( I know that bungie no longer have anything to do with halo and I’m glad they don’t but it would still be a cool tribute)
I love these little things they’ve started doing. Like this.
Yaaaay!! So glad they’re finally doing this. ODST had great collectibles, but it wasn’t enough, and there wasn’t enough variety. This seems more like the way Gears or War 2 and 3 did collectibles, which I always loved.
They’ll be similar to the intel collectables you pick up in latter call of duties, which probably will include more storyline.
Wonder if they are related to the Hunt the Truth, or just expanding the backstory?

You do have a point, even with Bungie gone 7 is still very much the lucky number in this universe. It’s also entirely possible that even if the first level is a prologue and last level an epilogue, we’ll still be able to play them. Guess we’ll have to wait and see!
Yeah, there are audio clips, they were in halo 4 i think.
