I mean, since Halo is affiliated so closely with Microsoft and has always been, doncha think we could have the ability to save out game clips to the DVR? Theater already has some problems that need to be resolved, but it’s kind of irritating to have these things live in two different places. It’s really hard to get good Halo footage outside of 30 second snippets.
Thoughts? Am I off my rocker? (I’m sure that’s the case)
This is a really good idea. MCC had this, but it never worked! It says ‘Upload file to Game DVR?’ But it never did…

It might be that it’s too difficult to execute, I guess. We may never know.
I’m not sure if this would work 100% since I have yet to try it myself, but if download the “Upload Studio” from the xbox one store and use it when capturing Halo MCC/Halo 5 gameplay; you can try integrating it that way. Since you can record a maximum of 30 minutes with the upload studio for the xbox one game DVR. I’d say try that, and btw, the upload studio is free to the public, so give it a shot and see what happens.
And if you try my idea, be warned, your going into a grey area a bit, since I also have to play around with the upload studio itself yet.
