Integrate Halo 5 into MCC!

Imagine how amazing it would be to select all the Halo games in one screen or play a mixed multiplayer with all the Halo games (especially if they add Reach!). Halo 1, Halo 2, Halo 3 & Halo 4 focus on the Master Chief. ODST (ODSTs), Reach (Noble team) and Guardians (Locke is the star in 12/15 missions) focuses on other characters. Perhaps make Halo MCC’s digital edition free for everyone (or the ones who installed a physical copy of MCC or for everyone who bought Halo Guardians) so we can switch back and forth easier!

They do not have to do this immediately. Perhaps wait until Halo 6 comes out. They can then use MCC to support Halo 1, 2, 3, 4, Guardians, ODST & Reach (all the ones not current). They definitely need to add Reach.

no… just no. not only with it further bug the hell out of MCC… but we don’t need another game that has issues connecting to the servers because theres 5 games in 1.

Wise man

No. Not going to happen. We will never seen a unified UI again…

It’s the Xbox One. Just hit that glowing button on the controller, tap the d-pad over to Halo 5, hit “A”, and launch the game. We’re talking seconds.

Arrange them all in your pins.

It is not a good idea…

I wouldn’t want Halo 5 to be fully integrated (due to the potential for many new bugs & the fact that it would diminish halo 5’s independence as a new installment in the series), but maybe they could replace the Halo 5 beta tab with a shortcut that launches Halo 5.

Yeahhhhhhhhhh no. Unless you want a constantly crashing and never working Halo 5, its a really, really bad idea.

God no, worst idea ever.

I appreciate where you are going with this, but it is easy enough to switch back and forth. Plus, H5 is the first game made for the xbox one, so liking it with older games may not work out as well as one may think. I think MCC is the most integrated we will get with the halo games. Good post though.

Yeah let’s risk what is already a buggy game by dumping another 60 Gig on top of it… it will totally work… smh…

Terrible, terrible, terrible idea.

Lmao let’s notttttt

nah thanks fam. Doing this would further break it.

This. MCC is already plaqued with playlist issues. (Theres no way for me to play unranked Halo 4?) 15 playlists for just 4 games isn’t enough. H5 doesn’t need to be held back because of the same reason

NO m8

It does not have to be immediately. Perhaps when Halo 6 comes out, they can integrate it. It will provide continued support for the older Halo series (one generation old).

no joke, plus I think Halo 5 has its own cool unique menu. I don’t want to see Halo 5 get mashed in with the more bland MCC menus and -Yoink-.

MCC is broken enough no need to add to it.

I do like the idea of every Halo title being accessible through a single UI that gets updated every time a new game releases. That means the player base for all games will stay high for a very long time and each Halo game is all in one place. That would be awesome if the UI was a little more reliable. Oh well, it’s not a must have.
