integrate dlc more effectively

I have downloaded both dlcs and I have yet to play firefight on unearthed, and I have yet to play invasion on breakpoint… this is ridiculous.

Halo’s matchmaking needs to prioritize on finding other players with the maps that way they can actually be enjoyed by the halo community. They could even put it as an option and warn you that it can slow down matchmaking.

343 if you read this please consider making changes to the current system in a TU (it could be just in time to take effect in matchmaking for your halo anniversary maps)

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES

Unearthed is the first FF map to come up every I play FF solo.
Breakpoint Invasion comes up more often than I’d like in the Big Team DLC.
I’ve played Breakpoint a few times in the actual Invasion playlist. If everyone has it in the room, it’s sure to come up as an option to play.

Are you sure you’re not fishing in a boat with a long line attached to it while moving at a steady pace?

Some people would actually like to play the new maps with core Reach rather than play them exclusivly. And breakpoint has a lot more to offer than invasion, and if it ever got picked on BTB that would become obvious.

You say integrate DLC more effectively but what you want is to play on the maps you paid for more.

That either calls for a DLC only playlist (which we have) or forcing everyone to buy the DLC to play anything more than one or two playlists.

Or just a DLC search restriction…

That’s already been implemented.

Though I did forget adding a stronger option that would match you only with other DLC players.

Yeah that’s what I meant. Something that would only match you with people who had DLC period. And you could disable it at will.

Yes. I payed for my DLC and I want to play it more often than the two playlists that are offered right now.

The maps have been out for ages now, HELL they were even half price for a month almost, and people should have them by now, there is no excuse, i’d be all for them making all the playlists dlc required except community. Especially when the anniversary maps come out, then they should DEFINATELY make all the playlists dlc required. im sure if you can afford to play online gaming, you can afford 5 dollar maps.

Yes because I want to play solo firefight…

Also BTB dlc doesn’t exist?

You don’t have to force everyone to buy the map pack… team slayer almost always has over 5000 playing and I would wager that half of them have the maps… If MM actually tried finding only people who have the maps to play together (like COD) 2500 would surely be enough to do so (as team classic usually has under 500 people playing and I find a match in it within a minute).

and no, playing on the DLC isn’t enough I want to play the game modes that the dlc intended. Hell, there is a breakpoint invasion achievement that I can’t even get because I’m not able to play it.

There needs to be MORE OF A VARIETY in DLC playlist, not just premium battle and premium whatever…

Agreed 100%. I should be matched in all gametypes with players who have the DLC, and it should come up as an option in all playlists. Then I should have the option to choose a DLC or regular map. Common sense really, they need to get on this with the title update. The fans demand it!
