An Idea has been struck in my cranium that I hope everyone can agree on, like and hopefully eventually see in if not Halo 5, Halo 6.
So, we have been introduced to talking, high fiving enthusiastic Spartans that people “Aren’t sure about” or just don’t like. We all want to be a b.a Silent deadly killing machine and have always chosen Master Chief armor to be that, but what about Cortana? I believe that if you truly want the player to have customization and options then this will be a solution to MANY issues people are unsure or dislike about Halo 5.
CUSTOM AI’S
Now not only be Master Chief but also have Cortana along side in battle.
-Of corse create unlocks, such as reaching “Pro” rank or whatever turns out to be top rank and then being able to have her
In Halo 4 they began creating a ring of light in the back of nearly helmet
-This is where the spartans AI goes, and if they have them where are their AI’s?
Create different voices such as Halo Reach’s "FireFight voices"
-Have girl, robotic, funny, developer, favorite pro’s voice telling you these things such as “Nice headshot!” or personally if I 4 someone and have to have these voices I would love to have Naded saying “Get F@#cking raped” :3 Anyways!
You can come up with some stupid explanation for it to
-Explain technology has advanced and AI’s can access the mainframe for the area or whatever crud.
Turn talking off if you want
-Go “off the radar” to ONI or whatever so you don’t hear them and they don’t hear you. BE A NINJA
Overall I think this will be very useful not only to replace things people don’t like but it creates depth, uniqueness, and really something worth adding if you do want to go that way with Halo.
CUSTOM B.S BEFORE AND AFTER MATCHES
Now this is something everyone is…Weirded out by. I don’t want to be some b.a Killing machine and then just start high fiving my homies like “Yo wazzup homie nice job killing that noob back there” “Yea he was clueless trying to ground pound me so I decided to backsmack that fool and slice his neck open like a turkey” NO. I mean. If I want it sure. But I don’t which probably means alot of you don’t. Which means of corse there should be a customization to it like most things when you add finicky things that could make or break a game (There are always OPTIONS.) Anyways. Create unlockables, the higher the rank the more b.a you end up being. Such as bringing the katana back and unlocking an ending for when you win and taking the sword out and swinging it a little bit. Or other random b.s that seems cool like taking off your helmet and being a skull there. Like that is B.A and I know many would look forward to unlocking that including myself
Gameplay is important no doubt but that’s the point in having a beta so early, to get the gameplay down to the way you want it to be 343. But add these simple things to the game. That imo is why other Halos have succeeded is them being Unique. Working for things that make you feel just b.a not just because the games were amazing but people enjoyed feeling cooler looking, having that special armor and maybe now a special AI or Animation to winning, losing, entering a match.
