Uhm. No it’s much easier to lower DMR kill speed slightly than redo everything else. Please just accept it needs a slight nerf to balance it 
what they need to do is decrease the DMRs fire rate and add slight bloom, its not OP its just unbalanced
Make everything overpowered! But if everything is overpowered they must be the same power level (which is over 9000) so there cannot be overpowered weapons.

But I’d still rather everything be unnerfed, if it means we leave the DMR alone. This DMR talk is the only thing I hope 343 ignores.

the only ones who say this are the DMR spammers, theres no “adapting” to an OP weapon, you can only match it by using it, but that would destroy gameplay by taking away variety.
People seriously need to shut up about the DMR.
We finally have fast kill times again like CE and Halo 2. THe last thing we need to do is start nerfing starting weapons.
All you need to do to balance things is up the fire rate on the BR and Carbine slightly.
That way kill times stay fast, and the startnig weapons are balanced.
And to all the people crying about cross map kills, guess what? Nerfing the DMR wont change that. THen people will just use the Carbine and Light Rifle which are both pin point accurate from long range. Then youll be asking them to nerf those.
Just stop crying and adapt.
