Granted, most of them couldn’t be fixed because of how bad title updates are. Each game that was online started off with only a few playlists. Eventually it would go full bloom and have every playlist that everyone liked.
You have to give 343 suggestions. Instead of whining and complaining why not tell them what you want in a civil manner? I personally want swat as a full-time playlist and snipers. I also want 2v2’s back. The biggest thing i think they need to fix right now though is connections. Every Halo game i have played has had some really great network coding for that time period. Can you fix a million things in 1 minute? No! You have to give them time. If you want to play a game you seem to lie, go play COD. They do’t fix anything and no one complains.

Some things shouldn’t have had to be fixed. The long list of problems with custom game options should have been fine from day-one. Things like Flood not being able to carry weapons, no Race, no VIP, no Assault, cannot place weapons on the map normally, etc. are problems that didn’t need to be problems. They knew that Custom Games was the lifeblood of Halo, but instead they shafted it. There’s no excuse for dropping the Ball in Customs and Forge. None.

Halo 1 wasn’t online and halo 2 had good playlists along with a great ranking system.
There are literally thousands of threads on this and other forums pointing out the problems of the game in a well thought out and respectful manner. They are not listening to anybody. Like others have said, there are many problems that should have been fixed before the game was released with a beta or other testing.
343 should have used the the knowledge they had of the problems that past Halos had immediately after release, but instead they obviously paid no attention to them. It seems they were too busy trying to make the game more noob friendly than too care about what the Halo fans from previous games wanted in the game.
About the playlist thing. Halo: Reach was released with most of the playlists people wanted so why did Halo 4 take a giant leap backwards?

I understand your thoughts on playlists and gameplay, but for God’s sake, quit whining about the guns. Battlefield 3 had this same problem where people were complaining about the guns AND IT DESTROYED THE GAME!!! The devs got a huge backlash from the community and it was just unbearable. The boltshot is SUPPOSED to be a mini shotgun when it is overcharged. The scattershot is fine the way it is. Quit worrying about the guns that people kill you with and worry about about necessary needs like the need for a filter so lag is cut and other stuff instead of, “this gun killed me,” and “I can’t kill this guy.”

Yes, I’ve seen only a couple actually constructive threads so far. Most are just “343 your game sucks its like call of duty”, and the few that try to be constructive mostly fail because they interrupt their points with hate and offhand comments. Then I see people flock to it and actually think it’s respectful! Ha!
People also need to remember that it does take time to change things, like was said before. Give them a little bit.
OP - I believe that 343i needs to do a better job of communicating. They are surely aware of some of the issues. If they conveyed what they were working on in a rack and stack order and perhaps with a time-talble (wishful thinking), then maybe that would calm the masses. The issue may be respect. It’s a video game and however we slice it, the majority of people who play are not adults just yet. So 343i may be like, “calm down little fella. we’ll get to it when we get to it and when we do, we’ll let you know.” ((((Shrugs))))
NOTE: They have internal schedules and timetables. Why not simply share what their plans are? That would be too much like the right thing to do. There are adults who play the game as well. Heck, many of you were adolescence when Halo began and are adults now.
