I seen countless of people talk about how automatics need to be nerfed. Honestly i think the only one that really needs nerfed is the storm rifle, it kills a lot faster than what i remembered in Halo 4. Alright now to the point of this thread, what really needs nerfed honestly is the magnum! I’m tired of player triple team slayer or warzone assault and being killed by a magnum and i’m using my assault rifle! There has been countless of times where the magnum has overpowered my AUTOMATIC assault rifle and its ridiculous! I know i’m not the only one tired of people running around with magnums all the time, Now 343 all you have to do is make the magnum a little less powerful and make it take 2 or 3 more shots to kill because this SHOULD NOT overpower a ASSAULT RIFLE or any other AUTOMATIC in general, what do you guys think?

It’s annoying yes.
But what I’ve learned is to just use the Magnum. It’s a beastly weapon.
The Storm Rifle, I lovvveee it. So much better than Halo 4’s.

I agree with the storm rifle part, in Halo 4 it was -Yoink- lol but i only picked it up once in halo 5 cuz i wanted to see what people was complaining about, and when i first killed somebody i was like, holy hell this thing is alot more powerful than halo 4 lol
I think if you go in any game solo, be prepared to get wrecked by people using their mics and communicating… It does suck when playing warzone and getting team killed… The magnum is a fun weapon to play with.
Your storm rifle complaint is valid.
Magnum is the only weapon that really takes skill in this game. A perfect kill with a magnum barely beats out an AR, so if people are able to get perfect kills on you, thrust out of the way, jump, crouch, whatever you gotta do to throw off their shot. If they miss 1 shot then you have the upper hand.
Autos are really not OP. The magnum is not really OP. Nothing (except for The Answer) is really OP.
The Magnum isn’t a sidearm. It’s just as viable as your AR, in certain situations. Don’t view it as just a “pistol”.
I think that the Magnum is fine as-is. It can compete with most other weapons, yet isn’t overpowered.
The Magnum will always be considered “the world’s biggest handgun or the world’s smallest rifle”. That’s why it can be a monster in the right hands.

The Magnum is OPus (sorry pun), it’s your starting weapon… and pretty damn balanced if I say so myself.

no, just no, Halo 5 has the best weapon balance from the whole franchise in my opinion and it is just fine how it is.
The weapons are fine. There are so many other powerful weapons to go against it too.
The Magnum is fine, it the most balance of all Magnums. Halo CE had a high TTK but had Projectile bullets to balance it out because its CE. Halo 2 Magnum was only good when in close quarters or duelwielding. Halo 3 Magnum was just -Yoink-. Reach Magnum was pretty balanced and same with the Halo 4 Magnum, but had bad accuracy and you had to pace how many shots you shoot.
