Instant Respawns. End of teabagging

EDIT: NVM, looks like this is only going to apply for the game mode: “Regicide”

I could care less about tea-bagging. Shows unsportsmanship and is very childish. Gets pretty annoying as well when people abuse it and just tea-bag for the hell of it.

Exactly right!

Damn…I am genuinely going to miss teabagging

It’s not childish and unsportsmanlike, it’s just a fun way to rub your skills in other player’s faces. It’s all good fun and you shouldn’t be upset when it happens.

The whole point of what you just said is the definition of unsportsmanship. Rubbing your skills in other peoples faces? What you’re basically saying is trying to make them feel bad about their own skills.

It may be unsportsman-like, but I honestly believe it to be a very good strategy 50% of the time. You can usually get a player angry at you for tea bagging them and this generally leads to them playing worse and more sloppily in their blind rage to hunt you down.

It’s a mean thing to do, but if it wins you the game–so be it.

Come one guys. You act like t-bagging is the same as literally spitting in someone’s face.

I don’t think teabagging will be completely gone out of MM due to one of the Avatars on Waypoint that you can have is a guy clearly teabagging another guy. I guess when 343 have a gaming session a lot of teabagging goes on.

NVM this, it seems that the instant respawns are only going apply for the mode: “Regicide”

Ah its a bit of a shame they’ve opted for instant respawns… I’m really curious how it will actually play out in the game for real. Part of me suspects that they will release a 1.1 update that removes a bunch of the junk they have just announced.

Yeah they said instant respawning will not be present in Objective based gametypes. So I guess… tea-bag away! :stuck_out_tongue:

Link please. I just thought it wasn’t in the OBJ.

It’s a video game, try not to take it too seriously.

and it is only if they choose to press X otherwise they will just wait to spawn in like usual.

Really

I hope so.

What I don’t understand, is how people can so openly bash competitive gamers and everything they stand for… And then go on and whine about teabagging being “Unsportsmanlike”. Sportsmanship is for people who play competitively, not casually.

Blah.

But it will effect gameplay
