The additions of sprint and instant respawn have made getting to the oddball so much quicker and easier that there is almost no penalty for dying. The area around the oddball is always surrounded by atleast four people because of this. If you kill someone, they are back before the time you recharge your shields. Excuse my language, but the whole match is just a cluster -Yoink- around the oddball and it really takes no skill at all.
My obvious suggestion is to add a mandatory respawn time of 5 seconds. No 343, it will not deter the CoD boys from playing because there is an actual wait time, it will enhance the playlist. You added a kill cam for a reason.

But the COD references are stupid. There’s only like one game mode in COD with instant respawn.
I remember 343 saying that instant respawn wouldn’t be in objective gametypes. I really love how much they change their minds…

It’s especially frustrating when said people have a headline like that and then actually bother to put in a dam poll!! You can’t have a proper poll right underneath a loaded statement.
Anyway, all I have to say is Halo 4 Oddball is the most fun out of the whole franchise. I barely played it in the other Halo games; now it’s addictive.

What, do you want me to make the title “Instant respawn in Oddball is somewhat detrimental to gameplay”.

And Jesus, if I’m putting a poll in the topic, then how am I being ‘matter-of-fact’. The simple act of adding a poll means that I acknowledge that not everyone will agree. It seems as if you’re looking for things to complain about.
