Halo 4 information is imminent, and with new videos, we can glean new information.

343 industries has started a video series detailing the systems, and purposes of the Halo rings. This series is called, “The Anatomy of Halo.” The most peculiar thing about the video is at the end. Throughout the video we treated with gameplay of Halo 3, and Anniversary. At the end, however, is a brand new video of a Halo ring. The first thing you’ll notice is that it looks like the video is glitching because pixels are jumping all over the screen. It gave the Halo the look of being damaged. I rewound the video and paid attention to a part I thought was damaged. It did not change. So now we know that this new Halo is damaged. The view of it then goes up so we can see the interior. Instead of seeing beautiful oceans and mountains, we are treated to clouds covering most of the ring.

So, what other Halo:

  1. Is Damaged

  2. Has a cloud surface

Why, Installation 07 of course! ^.^

It seems sort of random to put that in there if it didn’t have purpose with upcoming Halo Lore, so I think it’s safe to say we will visit Installation 07.

I do hope that we visit another halo in halo 4, but i have to tell you that the footage at the end of that video is from Halo: Legends. Halo: Legends is an animated series/movie that 343 made in 2009. The footage is from the episode origins.

Really? Hmm… I’ll have to watch that again.

Anyway, I hope we visit another Halo. Otherwise, they might as well rename Halo to Reclaimer.

Sorry, but while I’m sure they’ll talk about all 7 rings through the course of the video series, I doubt it will have anything to do with or have any connections to Halo 4. The bit at the end was from Origins II from Halo Legends.

Watched the ending. Anyway, doesn’t seem sort of peculiar that they would put that there? And in Origins too?

I mean, the fact that the Forerunner symbol is in her eye, and then shows a damaged Halo seems like they are trying to hint us to something.
