anyone else hyped for the FREE PC download for Installation 01 which is like Halo 3??? you have to earn armor which is a huge plus-KIOK
Why would anyone play that when Halo 5 is better and has Oceanic support? Earning armour, earning credits, earning RP is the same deal. The real cost is time, so how is that a huge plus.
If I recall Halo 5 is free with this Xbox pass and there’s a huge Halo sale especially for Halo Wars, so you’re barely saving anything for a free PC game.

It’ll be a different experience from Halo 5, since it’s being billed as a game that emulates Bungie’s games for gameplay. ‘Better’ is also a subjective term, and will vary from person to person.

thanks that’s exactly what i was trying to say and i never said it was “better” lol i just feel it will being back a classic halo feel. 
which for some i guess will be “better”

lol ya the games dynamics are what ive been missing in halo matchmaking i love halo 5 a lot just i also wish there was a playlist where you could have classic halo settings.

You can have classic Halo settings in H5. I play them in customs from time to time.
I’m just saying you can’t get hyped for this PC game when Halo 5 and Halo Wars 2 are currently greatly hyped with the Halo sales, xbox pass, double xp weekend, Warzone Turbo and Warzone Warlords. Picked a bad time to be making this thread.

its not that hyped tbh i know a lot of people in community and the most hype thing so far is potentially a h3 playlist coming to h5 with classic settings.
Moved this to Community Creations because it has nothing to do with Halo 5
I just hope my potato with a monitor and Captain Keyesboard can run it, otherwise I’m pretty excited for I01
I’m pretty confident that it can.
I don’t have a PC, however it makes me super happy to fan games like this. Especially with all things that they are doing for the Halo community!

Exactly!!!
Joining the i01 community recently has opened my eyes on how great this fan game will truly be. Plus, they’ve mentioned previously how the main inspiration for the game is specifically halo 3. Even more reason to be pumped!
This game looks fantastic, hoping it gains a sizeable population.
I do agree it looks amazing and looks really fun, but I’m never going to play it.

But classic Halo gameplay does not work in h5 cause maps are stretched out and built for sprint n abilities not classic Halo.The only way to play is to use the "Evolved Settings"not the best but not the worst either for Halo 5.Back to the topic at hand Installation 01 does some stuff better than h4 and h5 that can be done in future halos.

That is your opinion. I think they work fine. Also you can have them on whatever map you want. I played ffa on a construct map in H5 and it was pretty cool. You don’t have to use H5 maps in customs.

Sure in your experience but once you really play IMO its too slow cause its stretched out and more than enough people can vouch for that if you ask them.Its like saying you can use abilities on halo 1-3 maps without it ruining the gameplay flow and engagements or playing classic movement in BTB halo 5 and unless you play Forge maps specifically designed for classic halo movement.Ive played classic in halo 5 dev maps and it does not work as good as Evolved,an example is Truth,if you are top mid and say you want to jump up to where sword used to spawn,unless you clamber you could not get it otherwise,with evolved settings the max jump height was increased so the need for clamber to that spot was removed.If you have not played them you can check it out here and even contact the people on Discord for playdates: http://teambeyond.net/forum/topic/15402-evolved-settings-discussion/?st=0 Hope 01 comes to windows 10.
