Inspiration Needed

I am searching for inspiration for my “fanon” I am writing located here: Halo: The Reckoning
I began to write the first chapter, but decided the chronology of those events would be more effective in a later chapter. I have the general concept of what I want to accomplish with the “new” chapter 1, but I need ideas on what exactly the events will be to accomplish those ideas.

Any suggestions would be great, but please inbox them to me.

Well I’m going to need more than that if I’m going to help you. Like, what’s the premise? Where do you want the story to go?

from what I read, its pretty decent, but as you pointed out definitely meant for a future scene. I would have the first chapter about that battle the admiral mentions, but I would change two things.
