I found some old searches but nothing current. Just curious if they are still giving out insider nameplates? If so I have no received mine. Any ideas?
facts
Currently no OP, nameplates have only been given out on very select occasions so far. They might release them again at some point, just a case of waiting to see if they’re going to do that.
There should be no reason why Insider nameplates are not available in at least some way on every Insider flight.
It’s a rare nameplate. 3700 people qualified for the standard insider plate last time around, and an even fewer 1700 got the standard and plus version last time an event ran. I remember that over 50,000+ people played in that flight. I was fortunate enough to be one of those 1700 members.
I was given the MCC Insider Nameplate when I was selected for the HCE flight. half way through the flight, it was gone for some reason. I already made a ticket so hopefully I can get it back lol
I feel like they could just make a special nameplate for the flight that your playing, so if it was the CE flight it has the halo CE icon in the back ground, then with halo 2 make one with the halo 2 icon in the back ground, etc. Would make the older nameplates special while giving out new nameplates to incentives trying out as many flights as you get invited to. Just a thought tho
Seems like us pc players got the shaft, because they had handed them out to those in the reach flight, but only those who played it on console.
The idea of a randomly given out nameplate doesn’t sit well with me. Thousands of people would have particated in the flight with the nameplate if they had been allowed but since they had no control over whether or not they were selected it’s pretty unfair. It’s kind of a middle finger to completionists to forever prevent them from collecting all the nameplates thanks to RNG.
Also, it’s even worse since the nameplate now isn’t available in every flight.

I think that just the chance to be able to test an unreleased game build early is pretty special. A nameplate isn’t going to make much of a difference in getting people to play. The statistics from the flight where they were given out last proves that. Remember, you are here to assist in tracking down bugs, to help the devs ensure the game is as issue free as possible when release time comes around. I do see your point though, it could be considered a “thank you for helping” reward.

Of course and I am happy to get to be a part of it.
343 is the one who muddied the water by adding the nameplate in the first place.
