I had a problem that happened where my Xbox was downloading the old version of the MCC Insider build, even after I left and then rejoined the testing within the Xbox Insider App, and the only thing that solved the problem was hard resetting my Xbox BEFORE downloading the MCC Insider build. These instructions here say to download the build and then hard reset. I wasn’t sure if these were listed in the wrong order accidentally or if this was just a peculiar problem I had. I wanted to report it to help out if anyone else was having this problem!
No, the instructions are correct. The installation that is being referred to is for the app itself, not the game.
