Was just in a game with a player (gamertag was something along the lines of ‘toxic’)
who changed their callsign to toxc and had the radioactive emblem instead of the number one. Was this a dev or did someone figure out how to get into presentation?

Yep, that’s how I was able to change my emblem and service tag. There’s also options options to change your profile backdrop (though the waypoint beta app says it’s locked and the only options are just the two same things.), and voice options that gives a drop list of voiceprints followed by a string of four numbers and letters. I haven’t noticed the difference in my character’s voice compared to other options yet, or if this option actually changes anything in the preview.

Yeah it doesn’t work, I had to use the girlfriends iPhone.
Tried on a Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 5 and it said the firmware I’m using is too new to load the old Halo Channel app.
Where is the app? I dont see it on the iphone store

Go to your waypoint message for the beta, one of the links takes you to the waypoint experience. There it links you to the app. iOs uses some special pretest app so you download that then access the waypoint flight app. If you are on android then try it but pretty sure it doesn’t work. If anyone gets it working on Pixel 5 please let me know.

Unfortunately, if you haven’t already accessed the mobile app by now, you won’t be able to get in without a direct email or activation code. It shows the Beta is full when you follow the steps from the insider support page.

I used the android version of the Waypoint beta app. You can customize your game emblem, service tag and ai voice.

You have to sign up for the app beta on google play. Go to the Halo channel app and scroll down. There should be a beta sign up thing. Once you’ve done that it should install the beta version and you should be able to load the app properly.

Same here, I only just tried to install and open it once this morning though
got it working, myself. Really disappointed there’s no color customization for emblems. Worse than Halo 5’s emblems now. Hoping that’s because it’s unfinished.

Aye, there were a few technical issues on the Android side of things. Yesterday I reached out to their Insider Support and got it fixed across the board.

That is certain to be the case. We’re seeing a very small fragment of what’s to be offered, and the Emblems aren’t even readily available in the preview. Only through the app are we even able to edit them, and that cannot reasonably be all of them. With time.
The app is busted on Android.
I wouldn’t exactly say “busted”. It’s a preview of what’s to come.
