It’s my first montage ever and I Just finished making it the other day. Open to all criticism good and bad c:
Im not sure you’ll want my feedback, so I’ll hide it in a spoiler bubble so you can decide if you want to read it or not.
Watched 30 seconds of it, couldn’t stand the music. Closed it and have no desire to try it again.
good job I guess

Figured as much got about half way through editing before I realized not many would agree with the music selection.
Overall the editing was pretty solid. But definetely this song, while its tone and pacing was good during certain parts, the rest seemed to not match up that well with the pacing of the clips that you have. Maybe using a different song would work but really I think that it’s a matter of accurately editing your footage so that your music also reflects the style you want as well as the theme of the footage you are showing. Getting feedback while you’re still editing will definetely help in this.
I do think this is a very good first montage and I am really excited for when you come out with your next one! Keep it up!

I appreciate the feedback mate I’ll definitely look more into the songs and their comparability in the future
