Please, someone help me out on this. I am obviously upset, like many other posts i’ve seen, but 343 has no solutions, they’re too busy working on getting MP to work (Which is very important… Not trying to bash on 343).
Now, onto what this is really about. I played through the entire Halo: Combat Evolved campaign on Heroic, achieving well below par time on each mission (for the 15 minute missions I would get 9-10 minutes, for the 20 minute missions, 14-15). After completing this game, I went to check my achievements, hoping I would be a little closer to 100% completion… What I saw absolutely upset me. After about one or two hours of playing straight Halo, I unlocked no achievements. (Same thing happened with H2) So, anger aside I decided to move on to Halo 3. I also tried to beat par time for each mission on this game. I played Sierra 117 first (obviously), hoping it was just a glitch in Halo: CE & 2. I was let down yet again. So, I tried to retain faith in the game, by thinking it may just be a glitch with the first mission. NO. I try the next one and nothing. So I move to Halo 4. My last hope, the game that would decide my decision to go to Halowaypoint.com and see if this is happening to anyone else. No. Of course Halo 4 doesn’t work either… What was I thinking?? So I am here, and after about fifteen minutes of searching each possible combination of keywords to find my issue, the only forum I saw had a response saying “Sucks for you dude, cry about it to 343 some more.” Great. Problem solved. Thanks random person who likes to help people.
So, please respond with real suggestions.
Things that aren’t working for me-
Restarting my Xbox
Uninstalling Halo MCC and re-installing it
Going to the in-game achievements list and using the “take me to this” feature
Waiting (The halo CE events happened a month ago, so I don’t think the achievement is going to unlock
Trying again (Trust me, I have probably played the first mission of each game 30 times in the last month… I am not exaggerating
Buying a new xbox (I didn’t do this, but please don’t suggest it… (Parenthesis in Parenthesis) (My brother already suggested this)
Playing on a different difficulty (I have tried on every difficulty… For anyone else reading this who has completed solo H2 legendary / ----- (Going from H2 campaign to Halo: CE, 3, and 4 on legendary is like trying to jump off a skyscraper without dying vs. trying to jump off a car onto the ground without dying) ------- (IT IS SO MUCH HARDER THAN THE OTHER GAMES) -------/, you know it is extremely frustrating, even more so if you are going for par time)
Trying to word the last “Things that aren’t working for me ^” without using an insane amount of parenthesis.
If you have any suggestions, please tell me… Thanks!
