I’m playing Halo Infinite on a gaming laptop and while I can play this game’s campaign at a rock solid 120fps framerate, I’m encountering some mad stuttering while playing multiplayer and I’m not talking about the bigger BTB maps, small scale stuff like bazaar is giving me sutters, the kind of stuters that you usually experience when you try to play with V-sync on but your GPU can’t keep a stable framerate, but the problem is that even with V-sync off, the stutters still persist. For the record, I can play Doom Eternal with rock solid 120fps with my laptop’s specifications.

They have had well over a year to fix coding problems with this game, but it’s worse now than ever. It’s rare for this to happen, but it does occur when developers don’t know what they’re doing. This game plays as though it’s a Beta release, still.
Yeah, I was asking myself “What did 343 break this time around?”. Turns out that lowering the anti-aliasing settings mitigated 90% of the stuttering issues. Still it doesn’t explain why I get better performance on the campaign with far bigger environments and greater enemy count.
I’m not sure what’s going on but the last week or two the game has played worse than I’ve seen in six months. Stutter, warping around, being dropped, lag . All sorts of nonsense and I’m on a series x. i actually had to just quit the other day it was basically unplayable which was a first for me.
The problem still persists, it doesn’t seem to be related to the graphics settings, it appears to be related to the netcode, which means there’s no hope for it to ever be fixed. Honestly considering uninstalling this disaster of a game.
Same here, the stuttering is consistent now. There must be a problem with the servers. Are there any other games having this problem, or is it only Halo Infinite? How does MCC play?
