This isn’t really a halo problem as much as it is a 360 problem.
I’ve been getting serious Input delays on my 360, it is borderline unplayable on my wireless controllers (I only have 2 wireless controllers).
I don’t know if this issue is because of my TV, or the age of the xbox itself.
The seriousness of the delay varies between game to game, but it is most present on Halo 3, where can I find a fix and is any other person having these problems?
P.S. I am playing on HDMI on an HDTV
Have you tried turning on game mode on your TV?
You may need to go into your Xbox 360 display settings and make sure it’s outputting correctly. I don’t recall if it would do that automatically for HDMI unfortunately.
But I do remember I made the switch from CRT to an HD monitor during Halo: Reach (glorious 720p haha) but I didn’t switch my 360 over to display correctly for about a month!

yep, that was the problem.
It’s fixed now thanks to bungie forums from 2008
