Innies in Halo 4?

Are innies still against the unsc? Will we get Spartan Op missions against Innies?

I hope not… innies always bored my in the books, I really don’t want to fight against other humans. Never done that in halo and I’d like to keep it that way. I wanna fight aliens.

I thought Innies would add more variety like the mission in ghosts of onyx with blue team that was an exiting thing to read. For some reasons space battles bore me in the books.

I’d definitely enjoy fighting against them, but I can’t say if the chances of seeing them are likely since we don’t know where Halo 4’s story will lead us. The point being Spartan Ops is also a storytelling mode.

I think it would make for interesting fights.

I have to agree with you about the whole space battles being boring in the books thing. It is hard to make space battles sound thrilling in writing, plus it wasn’t done very well in the books (no disrespect to the writer). Space battles have potential, but watching them is much better than reading them sometimes.

As to the topic…
I would be ok with Innies being one of the new enemies in halo 4, just as long as its implemented correctly. If Innies end up getting implemented poorly, it will be more annoying than anything (think about the enemy humans in Dead Island if you’ve played it).

What are innies ?

Well, I have a feeling Spartan Ops will include some Innies.

Keep in mind that there’s an Insurrectionist colony named Venezia that plans to strike the UNSC at Earth. The population consists of Grunts, Jackals, Brutes, and rebel humans. This would make for a perfect season of Spartan Ops.

Keep in mind that its been a while since I’ve read the books, so I’m a little rusty…
In the books there is a civil war in the UNSC, which is part of the reason why the covenant was able to destroy anything human so easily (UNSC had to focus on 2 wars). Innies are the insurrectionists.

I hope so. Fighting human enemies will be a whole new different experience from fighting Covenant or the new enemy and will add variety to the game.

Unless, of course, the new enemy is Innies. Then I will not be happy.

I’m pretty sure there not the “ancient evil” but it be a fun change of pace taking on humans. One of the fun parts of this would be watching a normal human react to habing to fight a squad of spartans.

My Spartan fights insurrectionists all the time in my Head-Canon.
Using blackmarket super-drugs and back-ally cybernetics, they have mimicked the Spartan program and are terrorizing the colonies overlooked by the Covenant!
He also fights aliens and space robots, but thats a different story. Huzzah!

The space battles seem too slow paced and confusing in the books.
If the Innies are just a reskin of grunts it would not work well at all.

Drugged Innies like from evolutions seems like a fun thing to fight as well.

That would be an unbeatable boss level…

If I was an Innie and a squad of Spartan IVs breached the room I was in, I’d -Yoink- my pants XD

Based on how the Chief will be crossing paths with the Infinity over Requiem, I’d be surprised if Insurrections were to show up. It’s not plausible. Hell, I think it’s a stretch that the Covenant are showing up again.

I hope they do.

It doesn’t have to be on requiem it could be on earth. Imagine playing a level in a futuristic New York,Sydney, Moscow, etc.

But the Infinity multiplayer is a holodeck. Innies COULD be a training exercise. AND, I think i can say without a certain hammer falling on me, there was this young woman cgi in the First Look video. She has a headband or something. Possible innie/prisoner/plotcharacter? Search and Rescue?!
The daughter of the esteemed scientist from the first mission on Reach?! Dun Dun Duun!!!
