I was playing the Campaign on Day 1 of release, when I saw my first Forerunner weapon. I picked it up, and this small in-game cutscene showing off the slow but detailed assembly of the Light Rifle, among other weapons.
Then, I went back to them after replaying the game, but they made no such animation. It was now the default weapon pickup.
I want to see those again.

he meant, the very first time you pick up a forerunner weapon … its a different animation
Yeah, I really hoped I could somehow see those animations again, they were so cool! Plus, I don’t even remember some like the Incineration Cannon’s animation mainly because I was so intent to…well… incinerate stuff.
There’s a chance of it being in idle animation. If you just stand still, it’ll eventually happen. I know that it for sure works with the boltshot.
