I think inheritors in reach should get something in halo 4 for their amount of time
and devotion.
I just got my Inheritor and i only get a couple weeks to enjoy it.
I’m not asking for anything huge as a reward but something to show
others for our accomplishment.
At the least maybe an exclusive emblem or a cool medal in our service tag
or maybe even something next to your rank.
These are just ideas but what do you fellow inheritors think or
other players in general.
Some may think this inst fair since they didnt reach inheritor but i think its
more then fair since we earned the rank just like anyone could else could.
plz be considerate and mature when replying. Also no spamming
50s and Five Star Generals didn’t get anything in sequels. I don’t think Inheritors should either. To me, satisfaction in earning a high rank would be enough.
> Nope, they should not. They should all start from scratch again. Even if they got something, it would be unfair, to other players.
Seriously, something aesthetic would not be unfair. It’s like CQB and Military Police in Reach. You bought the other games and got some achievements? Here’s some helmets. Something like an emblem wouldn’t be unfair.
I would support something for a merit based rank, but the thing that always frustrated me with Reach was that the whole system was easily corrupted with boosting and was just a gauge on how long you played. I really don’t think it necessarily warrants any special privilege as it really signified a player who played little to no other games.
Perhaps some sort of gimmicky tag on or something but nothing that effects gameplay. After all, ranks in Reach only showed how addicted you were, not your skill level. You appear to have a commendable k/d (the only k/d so far that I have seen which is higher than mine!) however the majority of inheritors are no where near as skilled as you or me. I’m not sure people deserve meaningful rewards for just playing the game. Perhaps a skill related reward would be better?

I was just going to say that!
Guys its no different from those waypoint unlocks?
Whats the problem.?
I didnt have the Security Chest piece, i went back in did the things i needed to do to get them? Why is this such a bad idea?

Also not to mention Reach was a bungie game and Halo 4 is being developed by 343. And with all the emphasis on “your spartan career” in Halo 4, and a couple of things said in a few interviews and so forth, I wanna say some part of your career in 4 will carry over to 5 and so on.

Not saying there aren’t some legit inheritors, but the vast majority I’ve run into don’t seem to be legit anything.

So what youre saying is everything before no longer counts, we are starting anew?
I disagree, being an Inheritor was never as hard as getting a 50 in Halo 3 for example, it just took an unholy amount of playing hours to obtain, you never really had to try that hard if you didn’t want to. I think if you got all the CEA Terminals, Halo 3 Terminals and Halo 3 Vidmasters you should get something, now that would really be worthy of commendation. And you could get something for completing each.
