So i was just checking this out, and i think it quite possibly gives an insight to Halo 4’s story? Ive been out of the loop with the community for awhile now so dont know what is now rumour, fact, or denied lol, but last time i heard there was speculation the planet chief is heading towards is Onyx? Has this been denied yet, or is it still possible? If so, this could mean right from the bat we could be looking for Halsey as chief, which is a reunion i would love to see, for both the interaction between her and Chief, but also Cortana, who has been through a lot as an AI since leaving Halsey on Reach…
Also the spartan team Halsey is with, could hopefully include Jun =). A character i’d like to see return…
Halsey being in the future games is quite probable i think, as in the Halo Fest panel when asked about voice actors returning, they kind of avoided the question directly, saying “theyve been working with Jen Taylor on… something” lol… what else could they be working on with her…
Lastly, its possible w e will be fighting Elites again at least, as theres a Civil war going on with them, as well as a Human colony about to strike at Earth, so seeing a temporary alliance with Human insurgents and these Elites the Arbiter is trying to sort out could be pretty cool…
Ah sorry guys *Glasslands lol. Makes a lot more sense. And yeah i wasnt to sure wether it had been confirmed or not, if she is stuck on Onyx though, uncovering ancient tech etc, this could hopefully still relate strongly to Halo 4.

Sorry, but how do you know Jun isnt with them? has there been info on what happened to him after he escorted Halsey off reach? And yes i know Jen will (hopefully) be voicing Cortana, but if you watch the video the way they go about answering the question, it suggested Jen has been doing more than just voicing Cortana, aka hopefully also Halsey.
And yeah im not sure about the Elites, however if the Arbiter doesnt sort out his civil war by the end of Glasslands then its certainly possible.
And as for Human Rebels, this would be a bold move for 343i, as bungie really didnt want us fighting Humans. Its a move i would love though, fighting against humans with Human tech would be rather challenging and new…

So yeah it makes a lot of sense if Master Chief is heading to Onyx.
That is where Halsey and Jun were stationed.
Frankie has made it very clear that one Reach spartan survived (Jun).
Also, Frankie said in an interview that so far, all of the Forerunner structures that we have seen have been long since inactive, and it would be interesting to see what they are like when active.
As far as I’ve heard, on Onyx, the buildings are made out of Sentinels, correct?
That could be a really cool addition to the game, and makes sense with what Frankie said about the buildings being active and alive.

And this is implied how? Provide some evidence because I highly doubt Halsey is going to have a spontaneous appearance in Halo 4.

Then it will probably be UNSC/Arbiter’s forces vs Telcam. That said, it’s still not likely given a Forerunner structure was possibly activated by a human on their homeworld of Sanghelios.

Barely. With some ancient evil looming around, fighting humans would be anti-climatic. That and it doesn’t really flow with Halo’s style.

Agreed, hopefully on monday lol. Untill then we can but only speculate. I think onyx would be a great place to go in the game, and i cant wait to see other spartans, from chiefs perspective, which it looks like could be definately probable. Theyd beter show respect haha

If you’ve read G__<mark>L</mark>__asslands, you should know that ONI Research Facility Trevelyan is the diameter of Earth’s orbit. The Legendary planet looks about the size of Earth itself, not it’s orbit. So, right there. It’s not Onyx, and I wish they would put that in the Forum Guidelines: “You may not, in any posts, suggest that the Legendary planet seen in the Halo 4 trailer is Onyx.”

Dude, i said in my OP, i didnt know if it was or not, as i havnt read untill now wether it had been confirmed or denyed etc… Thank you for the information, no need to be so high and mighty about it
The Dyson sphere facility known as Kurt’s real last name, Trevelyant or something similar, used to be called onyx is under complete observation of ONI and ONI are in the process of recovering Forunner tech from inside it. It is roughly the size of Earth’s entire orbit around the sun. Chief is floating towards something other than the Trevelyant facility (Onyx)
