Trying to play Reach but I get this message “Information could not be retrieved from xbox Live”

This wouldn’t be the place to be looking for answers… It’s not a game issue, it’s a internet/xboxlive issue. I’ll give you one recommendation though since you’re here. Press menu & start at the same time to open 360 menu. Sign out, then redownload your account. If that doesn’t work, you’ll have to look somewhere else or even call xboxlive support.

You can always utilize this link here (Click Meh!) to see the status of Xbox LIVE and if there are any alerts for said services. This way, you can determine alot easier if the Halo: Reach servers are down, or if it is Xbox LIVE having issues.

Every time I have gotten this message it has been because the servers aren’t up. This never used to happen when Bungie was in charge of Reach but after they transferred the last good Halo game to 343 it has suffered from many problems.

“Luckily” this particular issue hasn’t been popping up in recent months but the Reach servers are still not functioning as they should be, and haven’t been since September of last year. If you continue to play Reach expect incredibly poor matchmaking games as 343 can’t seem to get a grasp upon basic server maintenance.

Thanks for the info. It started working again. Yeah Bungie was legit. I still have my Blue Flames! xD

Hey, it’s probably because the servers are offline!
