Good evening friends, I’m liking Halo 5, but I want in Halo 6, the producer needs to improve the information of the weapons and the recoil, what do you think about it?!

I think they’re referring to stats like a lot of other FPSs have regarding weapons. Range, accuracy, recoil, rate-of-fire and such.

Why not just go into Forge and figure it out yourself?
Not like it matters too much, the weapons aren’t THAT different from each other. This isn’t a gigantic sandbox like a Battlefield game, where there’s a bazzilion different variations of weapons that do more or less the same thing.

Thanks for the suggestion of using the forge, I like Halo 5, a beautiful game, but if Microsoft wants to attract new players, it has to evolve into a game mechanics and weapons similar to destiny and Battlefield, here in Brazil many players do a test with Halo 5, the impression is very good, but I feel that Microsoft needs to be bolder in the evolution of game mechanics and dominate the FPS genre They are small details that make all the difference in the game!!! Recoil in halo this is not BF or COD

Well I’m all for the pistol being toned down or it no longer being a spawn weapon, that’s for sure. I am not particularly picky about those ratings because when I used to play CoD they were mostly wrong. For example, guns with the max fire rate shot even faster with the rapid fire attachment, despite having a full bar for their rate of fire.

Thanks for your opinion, but I want to let record that I am not wanting to take the merits of Halo 5, if there is a game that can be making the definitive FPS, Halo 6 can conquer this recognition!!! I have great respect for the halo community! Thank you, my friend.

They tried that before. If you cup your hand to your ear you can still hear most of the fandom howling in anger.

I’m ok with 343I giving more information about the weapons, but I do not want Halo turning back into more of a COD type game (Halo 4) or turning into BF, TF, and especially Destiny!! Destiny should not even have PvP, it’s so ridiculously unbalanced.

I also don’t want much recoil or at all because it doesn’t make sense lore wise and I don’t want Halo to be like all the other FPS. You want your game to stand out not be like all the rest. I already hate how they brought dam ADS style zooming into Halo (really hoping it goes bye bye in Halo 6) It’s just terrible!! And makes Halo look and feel like every other FPS. Where as the classic zoom in my opinion, made Halo feel unique. I want them to bring that back with an updated look (think Iron Man or Terminator what it looks like when they zoom in on a Target)

You attracted more fans by being different, not by copying everyone else.

Damage - how much it gives your enemies the ouchies

Ammo count - how many of the shooty shooty you can do to your foes

Fire rate - how quickly the gun goes pew pew

Reload time,vent rate - replacing the thingamajigs that let you hurt the innocent super soldiers and alien whatchmacall-its

Recoil - how much your screen shakes when you go bang
Weapon reticle bloom - how quickly your reticle expands when shooting

Unique weapon stats

Blast radius - how far the explodes hits

Lock on time - running low on silly things to say

Nice to know stats but not really important

Projectile speed - hitscan or actual projectile

weapon range - for example the AR rounds stop at roughly 1000ft, most autos do actually, precision weapons go I think 2500ft while snipers just keep going.

Thanks for the comment, I understand that Halo has its features and essence, but other companies are seeking to evolve their gaming franchises and Halo this very late in comparison to other games, if Halo 6 does not evolve, I buy a PS4 and return to play the multiplatform, Halo has a fantastic story, but if you stop to evaluate, Halo needs urgent change!!! Thanks for the comment, Halo urgent need to update the information and balance the weapons!!! It is very annoying you play a game and you use the pistol in combat long distance and it is better than the Carbine!!! The Halo guns are all crazy, no balance, if any player catch the rockets or powerful weapons, opponents have no chance, I’m playing Halo 5, great Game, beautiful graphics, but needs changes, the Microsoft ® is wrong in not modernising halo, wakes up to war Microsoft ®!!!

No, no it doesn’t. Taking from Battlefield and Destiny is the last thing Halo should do. It’s an arena shooter. Battlefield is an arcade shooter and Destiny is a open-world FPS MMO hybrid thing.

Halo is not like other games. There are not ten different assault rifles to choose from. There is ONE assault rifle and that’s it. Same with all of the other weapons. There is only ONE DMR. ONE sniper rifle. Information like damage, range, fire rate, recoil, and the rest of the stuff that other games tell the player are not needed in Halo. The reason other games have this information is because the player can use all of those weapons in their loadout. Halo does not treat loadouts like other shooters nor do they give you a lot of options for your loadouts when they are present. Halo 5’s loadouts are entirely UNSC weapons and again, there’s only ONE of each weapon type. One pistol, one SMG, one assault rifle, one battle rifle, and one DMR.

There is absolutely no need for any of the stuff you’re suggesting to be added to Halo. Halo is NOT Battlefield or Destiny. They all belong to three different genres of shooters.

Pistols in Halo, much like everything else you seem to be missing the point of, are not like pistols in other games. The magnum is the utility weapon of Halo 5. It’s suppose to be viable in multiple situations. And that means it’s meant to be used at long ranges.

As for recoil, you are a super solider five hundred years in the future. Recoil does not exist in the same manner as a normal human being.

Some of the weapons already have recoil…

Also, there’s no need for weapon stats when you can go into a customs game and figure things out there yourself. Or you start up a game and experience it.
