TY for the link!
There seems to be a problem with the method outlined in the post. When I highlight the pre-ordered Halo 5: Guardians and press RT, LT & view, the file information pops up, but there isn’t a version number. I checked on my other games. The pre-ordered ones do not have version numbers, but the released games have them. Either I’m doing something wrong or the games don’t have any version number until they are actually released. If that’s the case, then one might have to wait until release day to find out whether or not you have to re-download the entire game.

Same here. I pre-ordered before October but I can’t recall if it was prior 21st. Bunch of long ID’s, not the 0.0.0.x
have the new dashboard and i see nothing like a version number.
I suppose anyone that is worried should turn on Instant-on for the next week. Hopefully you’ll get the right code. Unless they accurately assess the situation.

Same here.
Mine didn’t say a version number … but I have to work all day tomorrow, so I thought “screw it” and uninstalled it just in case it was wonky. It’s reinstalling right now and should be done by the time I get home tomorrow. That way I figured, if there was an issue and this was the fix, better just go ahead and do it to ensure it’ll be fine. What harm could it do?
Same here, I’m not getting a version number, just some random ID letters and numbers…The version does show up for all of my other installed games though.
When i do that sequence when highlighting the game all i see is a bunch of letters and numbers at the top. Content id is same aa top, product id is bunch of letters and numbers, title id is blank, error code is 87de07de, dist. Type is 1 , installation state is 68. Launch state is 1, size 49600… catalog type is 1 , xcrdld is 0. Device id 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 with some dashes.
Same here, I can’t see the version number of any game. Though I’m worried because Halo 5 displays an error (error code 87de07de) while all my other games display error code 00000000
You know what, screw it! I’ll reinstall it anyway, though now I feel like a heretic for uninstalling Halo 5
the numbers are d6069d66 8c0e 4011 ac22 1894ac1f1862

Same here. I’d like to know asap. Its gonna take several days if I have to install again. I hope not.
Yea I see nothing that even remotely resembles those sequence of numbers.
