Its still disappointing that the launch will seem pretty bare bones, but Joe Staten is probably right that they just have to launch. The game has been gestating for too long, and if they plan to update the game for 10 years than maybe all this chaos over launch features will be long forgotten by then. (Or the stop supporting it and everyone is vindicated.)

Just no. Completing games is important to most gamers, devs. Forcing to release a game early is not ok. All this does is lead to more trust issues with 343i, Microsoft. I’ll just tolerate the lack of content at launch but it won’t be forgotten.
Honestly I was not expecting a November launch, so I think the December 8th date is reasonable
Blog post mentions being able to pre order limited edition console today. Don’t see that available on the MS store. Already sold out???
