How did the Infinity servive the emp Cortana sent out? Is it because of the forunner core it has?

I think it was because she escaped before the EMP went off, but it’s been a while since I last watched any of the cutscenes, so my memory could be a little fuzzy.

They weren’t in range. As soon as the Guardian showed up, the Infinity was like “OH -Yoink-, BAIL!” And warped out just before the EMP fired

Good question,I think it would be similar to the effect the artifact in spartan ops had on the Infinity,where it shuts down everything except roland and the engines

It probably would have been disabled.

Yea this. Every non forerunner system on the vessel would be screwed.

Ya you are right the Infinity did make it out of there. I wonder where they went off to though.

My money’s on Halo 6 somewhat starting like Halo CE where they make blind jumps and eventually discover the Halo Ring.

They got out of range just in time, even if they were to get hit the forerunner engines would have still been activated and got them out of there.
