So I read that it gets updated at 6am ET but how is this going to be ranked? Is it just a matter of who plays most?
Same here I have questions is it going by Wins? K/D? Time Played? can we have some specifics here please. How is the Spartan OPs leader decided?
Actually looks like it will start 5am EST. Every time you beat a spartan ops misson you get one point the person with the most points wins.
From what I read in the rules, War games and spartan ops are going to be divided up.
In Wargames they stated there’s going to be a playlist you have to play in for it to count and it takes your score from the match. (from how it was described)
While in Spartan Ops, if you complete a game it awards “1” point per completed mission.
So if that didn’t answer your question, yeah, in a way its whoever can play the most. ;o

You have to use the find game option so you will get three random people or you can invite friends but you must use the find game option not select a chapter.
From what it said, you can play with friends, as long as the mission or match depending on what gametype, is finished.
So spartan ops, Everyone will get “1” point in that match, and Wargames, they get whatever score they earned.
Ahh thanks I meant for war games though…are you able to join with your own group of friends or will they limit it to just you? I just feel like if it goes by wins that may be unfair If some ppl have a team and some ppl don’t
The challenge works by accumulating your total scores across all games for either matchmaking or spartan ops, so in essence, you’re going for only one or the other if you want a chance of winning the grand prize.
The bad part however is that this system practically only works on the basis of how many games you can play in order to get the highest score over the day. People who are willing to play for 20+ hours straight, or have a group of people rotating on a single account 24/7 are going to win regardless of how much effort you may put in.
So long story short, unless you’re willing to kill yourself by playing non-stop or have a bunch of friends work together tirelessly to win the prize, there’s practically no point in competing.

Besides im like 90% sure when you go to the spartan ops menu it will say something like infinity challenge playlist or something.

They are starting from the beginning since apparently its a 5 week challenge they will have episodes 1-5 with episode one being first.
Spartan Ops ear a point by completing missions through the “Find Game” option.
Matchmaking look out for the “-Yoink!- Mobile Gaming” playlist that will be coming in 3-4 hours. This playist will accumulate all scores till the Qualifying round is done.

I see, I didn’t read to much into the SO one, cause of how you’re awarded the 1 point per game.
