Um, no. I was browsing Halo 4 official site, clicked gametypes and I saw INFINITY SLAYER ans SLAYER as seperate gametypes.

That’s why you see Slayer and Infinity Slayer being separate on this site. Both play quite differently. One has those questionable personal ordnance drops with a interesting point based system (Infinity Slayer) and the other one has the KotH style ordnance drops (dynamic is the word they use) with a more traditional kill based system (Slayer).

Like a lot of people have said its on the fricken site everybody keeps jumping to conclusions on things even though the true info is on the official site.
I get the feeling that all the kids who play vanilla Reach Team Slayer will go to Infinity Slayer in Halo 4.
I agree that infinity slayer and team slayer should be kept as different playlists/game modes, however, infinity slayer doesn’t look that bad. If it were to come, the situation in which 343i replaces team slayer with infinity slayer, it wouldn’t be so drastic. I found this video on the internet, hope it helps.
