I’m getting sooooooo sick and tired of these peeps who only vote for pro on infinity slayer playlists. I would like to work heavily on my comendations but noo we think we are cooler as pro. SWAT is just swat right? Why can’t infinity slayer be just infinity slayer?!

Any suggestions on playlists good for mastering ordanance like the railgun?

Anything with Settler. Great vantage point, easily defendable, and respawns very quickly.
It would be a whole lot simpler with just a infinity only playlist.
You had almost 9 months to play exactly what you wanted, now you know how the rest of us feel who hate infinity settings. Deal with it.
As Wolf already mentioned, Settler is a good choice and it’s picked quite often in BTB and infinity unfortunately is still picked most of the time so between the map spawn and ordnance drops you should get plenty of chances.
For now I need infinity slayer b/c I’m grinding for Breach. I don’t see why they cant have both playlists.
Does the Spartan ops server have a lot of ppl on it?
There are no servers, its another xbox that hosts it!

Get a good teammate and play Doubles. If you can gain map control you should have no problem getting 5+ Railgun kills per game.
Thought most of the posts say PRO is dead, which is clearly not the case.
If you learn to play PRO, you’ll be a better FPS across the board, just sayin.
How about no. Infinity settings are terrible and should never have been introduced to Halo. I rarely play anymore because Infinity settings are so annoying.
I just want my radar.
Seconded. I might even prefer it to infinity but I can’t count how many times I’ve put down the game in frustration after being randomly assasinated. It turns into luck and makes sprees very difficult. Not being able to use radar takes a lot of the strategic gameplay away

If you have such bad luck in matchmaking you should try the action sack playlist and pick the Rockn’ Rail types, you can def work on the railgun commendation there.

There are people on this forum who clearly wants Pro feasting on Infinity’s population. Many arguments were used, but when someone thinks he knows what’s better for all of us and how we should play Halo game, then there’s nothing you can do about it with another thread.

He is responding to the people that are talking about the lack of motion tracker eliminating strategy or tactics and turning the game into a luck base one. Like MR HARD THUNDER’s post. Not wither it should be in a gametype or not.

There is a HUGE difference.
Take one of the better maps and it turns into a crap shoot when you add motion tracker. SHUTOUT
This map is almost unplayable when you have motion tracker turned on. The moment a team gets a player top BR3 and S2, there is no way to remove these players as 2 players’ motion trackers now see the ENTIRE MAP. The other two players can roam around and just wait for the guys to come top.
If you have no motion tracker, you can send a guy, elbow jump, middle jump, bottom BR and lift to separate everyone. Not all 4 will be spotted, more than likely two will be completely over looked or the two pushing S will drop the player.
Having no motion tracker opens the game up to LIMITLESS options and strategies.
The problem with motion tracker isn’t the fact it shows you where the first battle is coming come. It shows you what you aren’t seeing while you’re fighting another player. I look at motion tracker and a permanent lift sound that is stuck to your player.

Good grief man how many halo games have you played? Pro has been in every Team Slayer playlist in every Halo game. Its a million times more halo than the IS BS.
Tens of thousands of people left because of its loadouts and ordinance crap. Not to mention there are PLENTY of people that appreciate Pro, vote for it, and enjoy it.
Its just WRONG to want to force IS crap on EVERYONE. How are you people not getting this? And no, 343 is not adding more playlists thanks to the atrocious population.
And honestly non of this even matters as im about to leave now too that Pro is ruined thanks to the garbage weapon and vehicle spawn update…

If people are voting for it, it’s probably popular.
So, if that’s the case do you really think it’s going to be a good idea to remove it from the playlist? If players enjoy it, let them enjoy it.
Also, there are plenty of playlists that have nothing but Infinity Settings where you can work on your commendations. In fact, you’ll probably get more kills in those settings if you play your cards right.
As for Railgun, doubles is a fairly good choice. Dubs on Haven and abandon tended to be very good for Railgun commendations, although I don’t know if they have been changed since then.
