Seems like there a good chance of the infinity being destroyed. I don’t think the banished were able to do it alone and I think they court the infinity off gaurd. I think that harbinger was the reason why they were able to defeat the unsc so easily. Looking forward to retaking the rinf back from these a holes. Destroying the banished and destroying cortana and destroying this rogue forerunner the harbinger

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Infinity full on speared the Guardian. I assume Chief brought the Weapon down to get Cortona and left the her down there because he had to go back up to help.
Ever since we found out that Infinite would be open world, I had a suspicion that the Infinity would get destroyed above Zeta Halo.
If 343 wanted to litter the world with UNSC supplies, they would need to come up with a compelling story reason as to why it was there. What better way then to have the the supplies literally having fallen from the sky?
Ever since I saw that clip with the downed guardian with what looks like Infinity there too, my head is literally exploding, I just wanna grab a banshee and try to fly over there to find out lol

There’s a very good chance the Infinity is what caused that hole in Zeta Halo. The Pillar of Autumn exploding did similar damage but Zeta Halo is bigger.
My guess is that the Infinity crashes after holding off the Banished allowing most of the escape pods to land on the ring.

I mean…there was actually a UNSC presence on Zeta Halo before all of this. So even without a direct explanation, anyone who read Hunters in the Dark would understand why there are UNSC caches and what not littering the area. Easily explainable in game.
Infinity is still around, just a bunch of Frigates and Destroyers attached to Infinity has been destroyed by the Banished Forces. Besides, Infinity is a massive ship a CCS Cruiser is like a tiny dot in comparison. It would be kinda hard for the Banished to take it head on, but I could be wrong.

That is true, they would need something of equal or greater force to Infinity to just…blow it out of the sky, so to speak. Granted the Banished was stuck on the Ark for a bit, I don’t think they managed to acquire something of that scale on a place like the Ark.

Remember the Infinity has boarded on multiple occasions and has crashed during one of the boarding. It also was ambushed and almost destroyed by a Covenant Space Station that put 3 holes in it and was nearly finished off by a Covenant Corvette.
