Infinity Challenge...

Okay so as many of you know 343 has a challenge going on to win a Ford Raptor.

To compete you need to register on Halowaypoint then play in the playlist till the end of qualification.

But the qualification playlist is “Team Based”… Why?!

Explain to me how I am supposed to compete to win a truck when my ability to win “one” truck is based off of how good my friends are or how bad the matchmaking system is(Ex: I always get matched against people of a significantly lower skill level).

If I wanted to or anyone else wanted to you could just stat -Yoink!- the whole time and pray off your friends or random teammates kills, that is not right.

Anyway I am interested in understanding why 343 would allow this to be the way you compete for the grand prize when it seems very obvious to me that a Classic FFA would be the purest form for such a competition.

Also I hope you have read this far and understand I am not raging I am just concerned that 343 really doesn’t know how to have a pure skill based competition.

And I hope to god the final Tier 1 matches are FFA.

What is your opinion? Do you care, Do you believe FFA would be better?

It would make sense, but since party is allowed, at least you can all aim for tier 1 or something.

finals ffa would be interesting, Max party size of 1 as well.

It would be more than interesting it would be correct.

because a contest based on how much someone plays is just silly all around. I joined the contest but have no allusions of winning the truck. it’s just one big joke to me.

Although it may be contest based on “how much someone plays”. That is not random at the end of the day how much you play is based on your own decisions.

I don’t see a problem with that.
