Infinity challenge worth losing your kd over?

Is it ? Really ? Should I accommodate my style and die more just to receive more points towards a higher standing on the charts ? I think not. Your point of view ?

Well because its flag, you should probably be going for the flag a lot even if that means dying. So yes, die more and you might get a 100 point flag cap pay off.

Waypoint tracks K/d separately for each gametype. To be honest, I have no Idea why it tracks k/d for objective game modes, as it only encourages boosting. But anyway, back on topic.

Yes,If you are playing CTF you should place capturing/Defending flags over your personal k/d. If you are unwilling to do so, do not play CTF. Simple as that.

I’m sorry OP it’s 2013 if kd is keeping u from playing a fun free tournament then I truly feel sorry for u…kd is worth nothing in real life or even in the video game world…if u wanna play just play

If you want to win a prize you should, Objective games should be played to win the game, and not pad K/D, but loose. However without a visible rank system nobody cares about winning and its all about K/D. In ranked Team Objective on H2 and H3 people played for the win and weren’t as concerned about their K/D because having a high K/D, but loosing meant you could downrank.

I don’t think you need to go as crazy as some people are. Playing countless hours in a gametype you don’t like as much as others. I think you just need to play enough to stay in whatever tier you want to compete in until the final round. Then when all the stats reset and you make the tier you want to compete in you need to play nonstop, and have the highest score to win the prize.

why should you care about k/d anyway? Especially with a ranking system coming out…

I honestly dont really care about my kdr. And I dont really care about the Infinity Challenge either.

Unless youre really good, and can play 10 hours a day you have no chance on winning anyway

pretty much this.
