Infinity challenge unfair?

So im kinda getting the impression that who ever is going to win the Infinity challenge will be who ever plays Halo 4 the most as they will gather the most amount of Xp. Which is slightly unfair to the likes of people who have job’s/commitments that render them unavailable to play halo 24/7(Lucky B******s if you can) am i the only one who thinks this?

Why would they want to promote it otherwise? 343 wants people to play the game more which is why I am sure the reasoning behind that the leaderboards will be based on Most time played or Most EXP.

Personally I don’t have a problem, I run my small business from home  I have all the time in the world

I could understand why the would want to get people playing it as much as they can, Its just kinda a bummer for the likes of myself who has to work 12 hour shifts and don’t always get the chance to sit down and destroy a good halo session

The only other way would be to pin up a leaderboard for most wins in 1 v 1 matches… And trust me all the 343 forum kids would be pissed since the MLG guys would win that leaderboard easily…

So really there is no other way to make the tournament “fair” for everyone.

Saying that it looks like im just going to have to sit down and make some time to Pwn some noobs im sure I’ll find the time. Come at me Haloz!!

i signed in, althought i didn’t understand if they just give the chance to win something or if i lose out/about(sorry the bad english) something…
could u kindly explain what it consists in? i may have problem with it?. thanks

Yep, it is unfortunate.

But isn’t that the point of prizes…to reward people for doing something? In this case, the reward is for playing lots of Halo 4. Put yourself in 343i’s shoes…why wouldn’t you work to get more people to play the game?

Don’t get me wrong, I work and have a family, and am able to maybe eke out an hour or two a night to play…I know I have no chance in this tournament.

It’s a (false) sense of entitlement to think that the world is fair or that you are being cheated out of some opportunity just because other people have different life circumstances which affords them the time to participate in events such as this. If you want to compete for the prizes, go for it. If you can’t, oh well.

I work alot and am too tired to do anything but sleep when I get home. I have quit buying games for my consoles because Sony and Microsoft have become greedy and focus more on quantity over quality so I have moved on to PC gaming because if the game sucks you could always Mod or hack it. I still like Nintedo even though they mostly have kid games but I like Super Smash Bros,Metroid,Star Fox,Zelda,Kirby, and Super Mario Bros because those were the games I grow up playing as a kid. Not going to buy Wii U until the new Smash Bros comes out so I will be on my PC mostly.

Yeahh i get what you mean  signed up for it this morning. Looks like im going to have to make some time to play me some Haloz in the coming couple of months
That Jeep is mine

as i already said i signed in…i’m a bit scared cause i haven’t done anything like that.
so i’m asking u: do i have to concern about anything?is there anything to be paid or done apart play? (sorry the bad english)

I’d look up the details if your worried I do that before signing up for contest or Tourniments.
