I’m still kinda confused on how the scoring works. Does it just add up all your game scores for the day? Meaning someone could just play all day scoring average and rank higher than someone that could only play 10 games, yet did amazing in each of them?
I have no clue. I tried going to infinity challenge page but it says there was an error so I can’t even look at that

WAR GAMES LEADERBOARD
Welcome to the War Games Leaderboard, here you will be competing for top rank to drive away in a UNSC-themed 2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor.
The War Games Leaderboard has a qualifier period from Dec 17, 2012 — Jan 10, 2013 during which you build up your Total Score to go up in rank and tier. Going up in tier allows you to compete for better prizing during the finals. Be sure to check the Tier Info boxes to see what score you need to achieve in order to get into the next tier, the information updates every 24 hours so check daily.
The tiers are set-up as the following:
■ Tier 1: Consisting of the top 10% of players competing
■ Tier 2: Consisting of the next 11-40% of players competing
■ Tier 3: Consisting of the bottom 60% of players competing
Competing with-in the War Games Leaderboard is simple, just follow the instructions below:
WAR GAMES QUALIFIER LEADERBOARD
Register for this tournament by reviewing the full Official Rules and signing-up at halo4infinitychallenge.com. Your score will only be tracked from the time you sign-up
Compete in Halo®4 Infinity Challenge playlist quick match to build your score. Note that custom games will not count towards the leaderboard
Depending on your Score, you will be placed in Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3.
On Jan10, 2013 at 23:59 EST the qualifier will be over and final adjustments to rankings and tiers will be made. On Jan, 12, 2013 the finals gameplay will start.
WAR GAMES FINALS LEADERBOARD
During the finals leaderboard your scores get reset and you compete against players within your own Tier.
Just like the Qualifier, compete in the finals by playing in the Infinity Playlist match to build up your score to win prizing.
The finals run from Jan 12, 2013 at 00:00 EST to Jan 19, 2013 at 23:59 EST."
I don’t see anything in there that gives a clear explanation of how the scoring works, so I have no idea what exactly I should be trying to do. I don’t even know if it counts all your games in a day or only a few of your best games, I’m lost.

I registered but for some reason i can never find myself in the leader board.
I can’t find myself on the leaderboard either 
Yeah no one can find themselves on the leaderboards nor can they find anyone else either. Just one of those things the site needs to fix
The leader boards aren’t updated continuously, rather they are updated periodically. I suspect that any games that you play now will be recorded, however it will not be reflected on the leader boards immediately.
