It’s ridiculous. I watched a game of his and you could literally hear the entire other team charging up their boltshots. They were playing Abandon and he was ring 2 and he could hear the other team, all on ring 3, charging their weapons. They were all laughing about it. It was ridiculous…

He probably saw a lot of people using the boltshot which causes him to lose, smart one. People on this forum countering the boltshot fiasco rely way to much on how many times they were killed by the boltshot. What people don’t know is that it ruins teamplay and strategy (which is why Halo was so popular). People saying that people shouldn’t complain about the boltshot because they weren’t killed by it that much is like saying that people shouldn’t complain about starvation because they can eat their body parts.
I personally don’t mind the boltshot if it was an ordinance weapon, but it’s pretty ridiculous when an entire team loads out with them
I dont get the analogy. I havent been up against boltshot campers to say one way or the other about it but I have gotten triple kills with it I think its best for defendig yourself from an ambush after charging. The charge time could be longer or it uses a whole clip for the charge. But all in all I dont die by it enough for me to complain to much.
