So I love the new stuff, I think it’ll be well done and just really fun. Yet not everything should be in every playlist. Some will be universal, some shouldn’t be
Normal Playlists
1-Normal points. 1 kill=1 Point. As simple as that
2-Normal respawns
3-Custom Load Outs are still allowed (some playlists don’t have this)
4-No armor upgrades
5-No support packages
6-Armor Abilities are on. (Though as before some dont)
7-No Ordnance drops at all
8-Friendly Fire is on
Infinity Playlist
1-Point system (kills=“X” points, etc
2-Instant or near instant spawns
3-Full custom load outs.
4-Armor Upgrades on
5-Support packages on
6-AA’s are on
7-Ordnance drops are on
8-No friendly fire (in some playlists)
This is looking like the Vanilla & TU stuff from Reach all over again, I wish 343i would just stick with the new stuff globally, except for the Classic playlist.
Not Infinity, Normal, Classic.

Variety playlists are fine unless they damage the connection
all what I’m concerned about is the connection
Weapon drops are only in infinity slayer as of right now not normal slayer. I’m guessing most other playlists will be using the new features. That seems to be the only only one that isnt going to be all over matchmaking.
I don’t understand why the community is so upset over the new scoring system… Seemed fine to me.
There aren’t “normal” playlists and “infinity” playlists. Infinity is a menu option that encompasses the entire multiplayer experience. War Games is the new “multiplayer”.
Now, Infinity Slayer is a new gametype, much like Regicide. Not everthing seen in that gametype is going to be universally implemented, such as personal weapon drops.
More to the point, hopefully we won’t see a major divide like is proposed in the OP (and has been seen in Reach).
